The 38th Toronto Film Festival was kicked off on September 5th by British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, whose star continues to be on the rise.

That opening film is "The Fifth Estate", about the largest leak of official secrets in American history and the rise to prominence of anti-secrecy website Wikileaks and its founder Julian Assange.

The movie is based on the memoirs of Assange's former trusted companion Daniel Domscheit-Berg, played in the movie by German star Daniel Bruhl.

While Benedict Cumberbatch, like all other actors in the MCU, is sworn to silence regarding Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, however, unlike other actors in the film, he has at least seen the whole script for the film.
